Quit Dragon Your Heels: Rarity
...and then we went to the Grand Galloping Gala. Yes, that Gala. The one nopony is likely to ever forget about. Dressed in our finest - compliments of myself, of course - we had all come with the highest of expectations. Applejack was there for purely mercenary reasons: she was hoping to sell her family goods to passers-by.
Personally, I felt it was a tad distasteful; this was the Gala, the high point of the year for all of Equestria even for those ponies who don't get in, not some sort of... county fair for hawking goods. She even had a stall for Celestia's sake. Admittedly, her family did need the money to keep Sweet Apple Acres running, so I kept my thoughts to myself.
Fluttershy - the demure little thing - came simply to see the creatures in Celestia's royal garden. She gets along so well with animals as a whole, and many in the garden are said to be completely unique to all of Equestria. Myself, I have trouble enough with Opalescence, an

In the small town of Ponyville, one can find a rather peculiar building near the outskirts. No, it isn't peculiar because it contains a pony eating monstrosity born within the very depths of the Underworld, but rather because of its peculiar appearance. The exterior was that of a carousel, very similar to the ones that can be found in a carnival. It was called (oddly enough) the Carousel Boutique. What was most interesting, however, was the purpose of this ornate establishment. If you were to ask a noblepony in the most fashionable districts of Canterlot where she got that wonderful dress she was wearing, she would tell you that it came from the same place that had just been mentioned. The Carousel Boutique was well known amongst the elite of Equestria for being the provider of wonderfully fashionable dresses.
Inside the shop was just as extravagant as the outside, if not more. The walls were painted in various shade
MLP:FiM The Stars of Darkness: EpilogueDear Princess Celestia,
Because of the events of the past month, this letter will not only be my report to you about friendship, but also an update as to the state of repairs to Ponyville and Whinnyapolis.
After Dark Star vanished and you returned to Canterlot, Luna was kind enough to teleport us back to Ponyville. Everything was in a shambles, as you can guess, but when we came back everypony was already working on getting things together. Even the ponies from Whinnyapolis, who had only been in our town for a few days, were lending a hoof wherever they could. It was an inspiring sight, and our victorious return only added to the atmosphere; we held a party that night, despite the work that needed to be done, and Luna returned to celebrate with us. It was great to have your sister join us, and it was obvious to me that she needed cheering up. Pinkie Pie took that job upon herself, of course, and by the end of the night Luna was laughing an

"Let me go in first Rarity, just to see if he's okay?"
Rarity simply nodded and watched as Twilight quietly slipped through the door. Rarity knew that she should have just sat there and waited but she couldn't resist the temptation to press her ear against the door and listen in on Twilight's conversation with Spike. 'I'm sorry Twilight.' She said to herself.
"Hey Spike, how are you doing?" She said to the purple stallion sitting on her old bed.
"Oh, hi Twilight; I'm okay I guess, except for being stuck in here. Where's Rarity?" he asked. "Pinkie said you and her would come up together."
The purple unicorn smiled a bit when she heard the concern in his voice. "I'm glad to see you're not mad at her an

And amongst the cupcakes and the chuckles, we got this idea of sending you letters! But not just normal letters! Oh, no! These letters are special! They’re special because we wanted to write them to you to say thanks! Wanna know why we want to say thanks? Because you are such a hardworking, little dragon! We never get to say thank you enough to you and your purple and green self!

Chapter 1: Can't Hardly Wait
It was a bright and sunny morning in Ponyville. Celestia's sun was warming up the town and the citizens that were already outside. One particular citizen was dashing his way across the town excitedly. It was Spike. The dragon was given the day off from Twilight Sparkle and he knew exactly how he wanted to spend it: helping Rarity at her shop. The small dragon was running as fast as his small legs could move to the Carousel Boutique. Upon reaching the porch, he rang the doorbell and waited patiently yet eagerly.
The door opened to reveal a small white unicorn with a pink and light purple mane. It wasn't Rarity, but her little sister, Sweetie Belle. "Oh, hello, Spike. You come by to help with the dress-making again?" Sweetie Belle welcomed the purple dragon warmly.
Spike nodded, "Yup, since Twilight gave me the day off, I figured I could be of some help."
"I'm sure my sister would be happy to have some help,

Chapter 5: Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love
The Saturday sun rose into the sky to wake Ponyville and its inhabitants for a brand new day. In the library, Spike was helping Twilight organize the library as they did every weekend. While his hands were busy putting books back up on shelves, Spike's mind was elsewhere. He was thinking of a certain yellow filly that had fully fallen head over hooves for. Lost in his daydreaming, he didn't hear the knock at the door.
Annoyed, Twilight walked to the door to answer it, "Oh, it's okay Spike, I'll get the door. It wasn't like I wasn't busy moving tables and desks with my magic. Nope, not at all," the purple mare said with an extreme sarcastic tone. She opened the door to a white unicorn with a deep purple mane, styled into perfect curls. "Oh, hello Rarity. What brings you here today?"
Rarity smiled to her fellow unicorn, "Oh Twilight, I was wondering if I could possibly borrow Spike from y
Allegrezza - Part Twenty-NineVinyl casually swilled another gulp of her drink, her sense of fulfillment only becoming more complete by the moment. Of course, while alcohol has rarely been considered a functional vector for gaining spiritual peace in general pony society, Vinyl had always found it to be an excellent relaxing agent. It dulled down her fervent miasma of thought into an enjoyable trickle that unveiled itself to her at a much slower and more manageable pace.
It was because of this new state of mind that she failed to notice the barcolt's repeated attack runs on her vicinity, swooping down on nearby tables and claiming their abandoned glasses. Each strafe drew closer than the last, and they were finished with a fervent glance over at the pair. The barcolt had managed several of these passive assaults before Vinyl finally noticed the attention she and Octavia were receiving. She stared down the barcolt as he moved to assail the table adjacent to her and Vinyl, causing him to cough lightly and cloak himse

Chapter 8: Sæglópur (Lost At Sea)
"Huh?!" all three fillies were shocked by his answer.
Spike was afraid of what chaos he just might have set in motion. 'Dear Celestia, forgive my stupidity .' he thought to himself while the girls were still processing his statement.
"Sp-Spike .?" Applebloom's voice was slightly distorted as she was having trouble speaking. Tears gathered into her eyes and slowly rolled down her eyes. She tried to speak something else, but she was unable to. At that, she turned and ran off from the group. She couldn't bear to be around them right then.
As she watched the yellow filly run off, Sweetie Belle kept her calm. "Well, I see how it really is now, Spike ." her voice sounded the same save a small hint of distress, "I'll see myself away now." Standing up off the ground, Sweetie Belle walked off in the same direction as Applebloom before pausing and trotting back the opposite direction

You Were Not An Aquarium BoySea-glass became your bones,
brine your blood, and seashells
melded into your skin.
You were not quite an ocean
when you said "This is your sign to love me."
My body was like a building;
tall, cold, almost unbreakable.
I was metallic and sharp,
towering over your waters.
I remember taking your hand in mine,
conch and coral shells scrubbing
my skyscraper wrists, and laughing
about how one day you would
submerge every last bit of me.
Your lips, riddled with argonauts,
found my cheek and I cringed
at the coarseness.
You asked if they bothered me
and I finally told you "I
think I love you."
